Information-Geometric Blind Spots of Conformal Test Martingales

arXiv:2610.23131v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Conformal test martingales (CTMs) are e-processes for sequentially testing exchangeability via p-values produced by a conformity function $A$. However, any distribution shift that preserves the push-forward $P\circ A^{-1}$ leaves the p-value distribution invariant, rendering it invisible to every CTM based on $A$.

Towards Reconstructing Geographically Diverse Architecture with 3D Foundation Models

arXiv:2610.22514v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Internet-scale photo collections of real-world landmarks have driven progress in 3D computer vision yet remain highly challenging for modern 3D foundation models (3DFMs) that estimate scene structure in a single feed-forward pass. In this work, we introduce ArchWorld, a benchmark of 3D architectural landmarks with high geographic coverage and rich metadata.

alkhder at ImageEval 2026 Shared Tasks: Constrained Selection and Rotation-Averaged Logit Scoring for Multimodal Hallucination Detection

arXiv:2610.22515v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: We describe our submission to Subtask~1b of ImageEval 2026. The task consists of selecting the single visually valid statement from three candidates paired with an image, and is in both English and Modern Standard Arabic (MSA). Our system uses a pre-trained 7B vision--language model in a zero-shot setting, without task-specific training or fine-tuning.

When the implementation matters more than the algorithm: NSGA-II and other multi-objective optimizers in engineering design tools

arXiv:2610.22397v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: Engineering design tools increasingly embed optimizers as ready-made components that users select by algorithm name, while operator settings and bound, integer and duplicate handling stay fixed inside each tool. This study tests whether the name predicts the result.
